Ministry Team Leaders

Below are the different Ministry Teams which are in need of adult leadership and involvement. Please Contact Pastor Brett if you are interested in finding out more information!

Welcome Team: This team will be responsible for welcoming students as they walk in the doors. They will help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. These leaders will also need to be very familiar with the check in system (which will probably be computerized by the fall) as they will help students sign in and they will also help new students sign up.

First Impressions Team: This team is all about making the Youth Center look appealing. When new students walk in, they take a look at the surroundings and make a snap judgment about how much we (the church) care about them. Sadly, we don’t do a great job at this. The first impressions team will be the very important team that makes sure things are consistently looking good, updated and truly conveying to guests and regulars how much we care and how much God cares about them.

Tech Team: This team involves running sound, lights, computer and all things tech on Sunday mornings.

Worship Team: This leader is responsible for putting together teams of students or outside worship leaders/bands who will be leading worship on a weekly basis on Sunday mornings. They themselves are not responsible for leading each week, but in making sure there are leaders lined up to do so.

Creative Team: This leader is responsible for helping involve the creative arts into the services through skits, art, video, dance, etc. Their main objective is to seek out students with these gifts and encourage/help them find ways to incorporate them on Sunday mornings.

Communication Team: This team’s main responsibilities will be to know what is going on and coming up in the ministry and helping promote them in creative ways. This team will help keep the web site up to date, relevant and fun along with facebook groups and any other ways to help keep students connected and informed with what is going on.
