Family: Happily married to Diane (July 13, 1985) a 6th grade language arts teacher; 3 great kids – Jenny, Levi, and Lindsay.

Educational Background: George Mason University (PhD); Anderson University School of Theology (MDiv); Anderson University School of Theology (MRE); Mid-America Christian University (BSc)

Hobbies: Family time; outdoors, nature, national parks; adventure experiences (white-water rafting, zip lines, bungee); reading (especially history).

Best part about his job: I love leading our Staff Teams, working with our Elders, & weekend teaching.  I love our outward focus, mission-partnerships, and global vision!

Interesting things to know about Steve:
- Has hiked, “muled”, and hiked again the Grand Canyon from rim-to-river-to-rim!
- Did PhD internship by living for 3 weeks on the Caribbean island of Trinidad!
- Did a family RV trip to Alaska in 2009 of over 8000 miles!
- Is a major “Ted-Head” – his favorite president is Teddy Roosevelt!  (Bully!)
