Weekend Classes

Love. Go Deeper. Welcome to a place where you can experience the presence of God and learn to walk through life with fellow Christians who love and support each other. These ongoing classes for adults are arranged by similar life stages and ages. It's a place to learn, ask questions, and find answers in the Word of God. All the classes love welcoming new people so feel free stop by any time. You are welcome here!

Saturday Classes (6:45-7:45 p.m.)

  • Transformers (singles & couples, 20’s & 30’s)
    Transformers is committed to transforming lives through the study of God’s Word. This class enjoys friendships and prayer support, as well as challenging one another in spiritual growth. It’s a fun group that enjoys getting together outside of class for activities. Teachers: Erin Taylor, Trent Roth and Bekky Coffey. Location: Room 135.
  • Crosspoints (adults, all ages)
    Come and join this class centered around discussions of Biblical topics. The class offers a fun atmosphere that draws all people to feel a part of the group. Come enjoy learning and discover a sense of belonging at the same time. Teachers: Miles Furnish, Duncan Brown, and Dick Rea. Location: Room 133.

 Sunday Classes  (9:40-10:45 a.m.)

  • Phase II (singles & couples, 20’s-30’s)
    Dynamic discussion and in-depth study of the Bible and other Christian centered topics and books. Class focuses on the joy of being authentic disciples for Christ and applying Scripture to our daily lives. Teachers: Greg Hale and Monika Nyby. Location: Room 133.
  • Branches (young families, 20’s-30’s)
    This class covers a wide range of topics geared for younger adults including current events and Bible Study. Fellowship is also a part of the class and activities. Teachers: Barbie Rucker, Joel Thorp, Bethany Bishop, and Matt Taylor. Location: Room 130.
  • C.R.O.S.S. (singles & couples, 30’s-40’s)
    A class that focuses on Bible study and current topics with practical application for life. This class alternates between Bible study and a Christian topic. Teachers: Jason Stephenson and Alecia Brantingham. Location: Room 135.
  • Logos (couples & singles, 30’s-50’s)
    This class is for those who desire to be active in Bible study. They are going through the entire Bible, with insights and discussion in each book. Teachers: Kevin Yaney, John Nixon, and Scott Livingston. Location: Room 134.
  • Genesis (couples, 40’s-60’s)
    This class focuses on Bible study and other current topics in a fun atmosphere. This class enjoys humor along with discussion on a deeper level. Teachers: John Zerkle, Linda Thompson and Bob Berger. Location: Room 125.
  • Sojourners (adults, 40’s-60’s)
    Join this class for a lively discussion of the Bible and issues related to living out a Christian worldview along with other faith-building topics. Come join the fellowship and fun while learning at the same time. Teachers: Vern Ludden, Doug Smith, and Brad Schulz. Location: Room 126.
  • Cheers (adults, 50’s-60’s+)
    An inter-generational class that enjoys friendships, fun and learning the Word. The focus is on Bible study, though other topics are occasionally explored. They also have many activities outside of class to build relationships and serve. Teachers: Maxine Jones and David Baer. Location: Rooms 131-132.
  • Christian Living (70’s+)
    Our seniors enjoy lectures and discussion around Bible topics. The class offers good discussion, loving care, Bible study and prayer support. Teacher: Nyle Kardatzke. Location: Room 136.
  • Through the Bible (adults, all ages)
    This class has a focus on reading completely through the Bible in two years. Class members are expected to read the assignments before each class time. Growth as a Christian as well as Bible knowledge is a result of this kind of study. Teachers: Bryan Wright and Barry Newborn. Location: Room 137.

  Sunday Classes (11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m.)

  • Crossing Singles (singles, 30’s-50’s)
    Crossing Singles is a class of unmarried people from various backgrounds who enjoy lively discussion, prayer support and fellowship. The focus is on Bible study and current topics. They also have many activities outside of class to build friendships. Teachers: Larry and Ginny Salsman. Location: Room 126.
  • The Carpenter’s Tools (adults, all ages)
    Carpenter’s Tools is a class with teaching and discussion centered around the current sermon. Each class is designed to take the message of the morning and go into depth of discussion of the scriptural passages. Teachers: Duane and Dana Hunt. Location: Room 137.
