WHAT I DO:

I love being a pastor here at Church at the Crossing. My specific roles are working with our Elders and Staff on vision, direction, and mission - and - coordinating weekend teaching in our worship services with our Teaching Pastor, Erin Taylor. In addition, I have the privilege to be invited into so many of the sacred moments of people’s lives (baptism, anointing, communion, and more). I have to say it, "I love being a pastor here at Church at the Crossing!"

HOME, FAMILY, PETS?

My wife Diane and I met as college students and were married in 1985. She is the director of the International Students at a local high school. We have no pets and are now semi-official empty-nesters. Our two oldest children are both engaged and will be married in 2017 and our youngest is a freshman in college. We are settling into a new pattern of life and loving every minute of it.

MY HOBBIES:

My soul comes alive outdoors and in new places – riding my bike on the Monon is a must here in Indy, and discovering new spots in nature both far and near is a passion of mine (6 of 7 continents thus far)!

INTERESTING THING TO KNOW ABOUT ME:

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the National Parks in 2016 I went to six of them including both Theodore Roosevelt National Park in South Dakota and Glacier National Park in Montana. I cannot get enough of that big sky country!

WHAT I DO:

Pastor Steve has a pretty important job as Senior Pastor.  I have the great privilege to work alongside him on church projects, research, scheduling and more.  You know, all the behind the scenes stuff.

HOME, FAMILY, PETS?

Home is in Noblesville. I am married to my best friend, Brad. Together we have 3 fun-loving, quirky, adventurous kiddos. Merek is our loud, funny, wants-to-do-it-all son. Ava and Sophia are our twin girls. Ava is bubbly and loves to giggle. Sophia is a little shy but will warm up quick and she is my helper.

MY HOBBIES:

I love going on adventures, from road trips to hiking to mountain biking. I enjoy exploring new-to-me places. I love to relax in my comfy clothes and read. I always love to get together with friends around a table with good food.

INTERESTING THING TO KNOW ABOUT ME:

I have lived in Boulder, Colorado in the foothills of the Rockies and in Wasilla, Alaska. And no, I could not see Russia from my house.
