
Summer Study Groups are an excellent opportunity to connect in community with others and grow into a well-rounded faith. Descriptions for each group offered are listed below. Study groups will meet during the four Mondays in August (unless noted otherwise in the description) from 6:15 - 8:00 PM. Dinner will be available as you connect in community with others before groups begin! Scholarships are available for groups with a cost. Please email Tim Lucas at tlucas@golove.org for more info.

Anchored & Aligned: Christian Men for Today -Modern Christian men face a unique set of challenges in today's world, navigating faith, societal expectations, and personal well-being. This group will explore some key issues they often grapple with: Redefining masculinity while understanding God's design for men, Spiritual formation and leadership in the church, Navigating relationships, and Living with integrity in a secular world. Join a GriefShare support group—a welcoming, caring space where you don’t have to face the pain of loss alone. Guided by trained facilitators and a proven, faith-based curriculum, each session provides practical tools and heartfelt encouragement to help you navigate the journey of grief. Whether your loss is recent or from years past, GriefShare offers comfort, connection, and hope. Led by Marcia Claerbout.

How to Read The Bible and Get the Most Out of It -
Old Testament, New Testament, History, Poetry, Prophecy...The Bible is full of deep and timeless truth, but it can be intimidating, confusing, and difficult to understand. This course will help you understand the various parts of the Bible, how the Bible came to be, and how God speaks to us through his Word for our personal transformation. Led by Andrew Miller.

This study group will examine often overlooked characters of the Bible: Leah, Abigail, Jehoiada, and Abed-Melech. This interactive study will include historical context, as well as life lessons we can draw from their lives and faith. Led by Bruce Hazel.
The 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work -
This group will explore the foundational principles for building and sustaining a healthy, God-honoring marriage. Each session integrates biblical truth with practical relationship tools to help couples strengthen communication, grow in emotional connection, and honor God in their commitment to one another. Whether you're newly married or have been together for decades, this fun and informative class offers faith-based guidance for lasting intimacy and unity.
Led by Logan Everett, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice for over a decade with New Hope Counseling. Cost is $25 per couple.
The Story Within: Inner Healing for Wholehearted Living -Ladies, discover how your childhood story shapes your present—and how God wants to restore it for His glory and your good.
This study group is created for Christian women who want to understand how their childhood experiences—both joyful and painful—continue to shape their beliefs, relationships, emotions, and faith today. This journey gently explores the connection between early wounds and adult patterns like perfectionism, fear, people-pleasing, avoidance, shame and emotional numbness.
Together, we will discover how God can bring healing through community and the power of His Spirit and begin living more freely, securely, and wholeheartedly in Christ. Led by Dina Furnish.
