Jr. & Sr. High Workcamp
WORKCAMP 2019 - Jr. & Sr. High
July 14 - 20, 2019
This summer, we have a unique, one-time opportunity for both our middle school & high school youth to serve the community surrounding Henderson Settlement. Henderson Settlement’s purpose is to meet the basic human needs of people in the greater Frakes, Kentucky, community of Appalachia.
Each year, our 7th & 8th graders partner with Henderson by participating in construction work (such as building porches) for families in the area. Our high schoolers will take on some larger, more intensive projects. The experiences of the week will be largely separate for middle school and high school, with some intentional time all together. We are excited about what God will do in and through us as we deepen our partnership this year!
Workcamp is one of the most anticipated events for the youth of Church at the Crossing. Not only is it a time for them to be with friends and build relationships for a whole week, but they also get opportunities to be stretched and to see the impact they can have when they use their gifts to serve others.
