Jr. High Workcamp
Jr. High Workcamp 2020
July 12-18, 2020
This summer, we are excited to return to Henderson Settlement and continue our long-standing partnership with this incredible organization and community. Henderson Settlement, located in Frakes, Kentucky, exists to create opportunities for better lives within the Appalachian region. Each year, our 7th and 8th-grade youth partner in this mission by taking part in construction work for families who may not have the means to take on projects themselves. While this work makes up for the majority of our time at Henderson Settlement, Workcamp also allows for intentional time spent together connecting, resting, and digging deeper into why we serve. As we continue our partnership with this community, we are eager to see ways we can keep pursuing what God is doing within the Appalachian region and come alongside this great work.
Every year, Jr. High Workcamp is one of our most eagerly anticipated events, not only because of the opportunity to get away and spend time with friends in a new environment, but because of the ways that Workcamp provides opportunities to grow, use one’s gifts to serve, and learn more about who God is and who He says our youth are.
