All-Day Preschool

Designed for working families to have a preschool and childcare experience with a schedule to meet their needs.

The classrooms operate with two morning and two afternoon teachers. Although there is a variety of professional preparedness in our staff’s background, you will find our lead preschool teachers have degrees in Education (or related fields) or several years of experience working with young children, so they are able to design age-appropriate curriculum for your child’s development. This program is registered with the State of Indiana Division of Children and Family Services.

Days & Hours

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Throughout the year, the classes participate in:

  • Daily Circle Time in both morning and afternoon
  • In-house visitors
  • Off-campus field trips
  • Weekly Bible lessons with a discussion & craft
  • Weekly all-school Chapel

At ECC, your child will engage and learn through:

  • Play & story time
  • Music & movement
  • Centers
  • Arts & crafts
  • Large muscle play (inside gym or outdoor playground)
  • Imagination & exploration

They will be exposed to:

  • Shapes & colors
  • Reading & writing ("Handwriting Without Tears" curriculum for older classes)
  • Math & science
  • Arts & crafts
  • Patterns & more!

Class Sizes & Ages

We have a wide range of classes to suit preschool age and development.

Storks

  • 3 - 15 months (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
  • Class size: 8 children/2 teachers

Chickadees

  • 12 months by August 1
  • Class Size: 9 children/2 teachers

Owlets

  • 18 months by August 1
  • Class Size: 12 children/2 teachers

Flamingos

  • 2.5 years by August 1
  • Class Size: 15 children/2 teachers

Robins / Cardinals

  • 3 years and 100% potty-trained by August 1
  • Class Size: 15-18 children/2 teachers

Falcons / PreK

  • 4 years by August 1
  • Class Size: 18 children/2 teachers

Eagles

  • Class Size: 18 children/2 teachers

Sample Daily Schedule

7:00 –7:30 AM  |  Play time in the Gym

7:30 – 8:00 AM  |  Breakfast in the Breakfast Room (optional for a fee)

8:00 – 9:15 AM  |  Large Muscle Play (outdoor playground or indoor gym)

9:15 – 11:30 AM  |  Classroom Time (snacks, circle times, centers, exploration)

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM  |  Large Muscle Play

12:00 – 1:00 PM  |  Lunch

1:00 – 3:00 PM  |  Rest/Naptime

3:00 – 5:00 PM  |  Classroom time (snacks, circle time, centers, exploration)

5:30 – 6:00 PM  |  Large Muscle Play
